Hardwired Installation

The hardwired module features screw terminals, just like a standard electrical receptacle, and supports both 15A and 20A installations. When installed without the optional self-contained cap, a back box and a back box cover plate are required. Cover plate (15A/20A) sold separately.

Self-Contained Installation

When installed with the included self-contained cap - designed specifically for Romex cable - unifit outlet single can be mounted without a back box, providing a cleaner and more flexible solution. Installs from the front and removes just as easily - no tools required. Cover plate (15A/20A) sold separately.

In NYC, metallic junction boxes are mandatory. Our unifit hardwired with back box and back box cover plate is approved by the NYC DOB. 

Corded Installation

The corded version comes with a 5 ft. cable and a NEMA 5-15 plug, making it ideal for furniture applications. Available in a 15A version only.
