Pigreco is an object with a primitive, almost elementary shape that comes from afar. It can be a stool, a simple support or just a sculptural element.
The object is the assembly of several marble slabs which differ in thickness and color. These slabs are repurposed from what would otherwise be considered waste or leftovers from other projects. The end result is not that of a single block of stone, but the juxtaposition of materials with different colors and sizes that can be clearly seen.
