GIO I Armchair by Rubelli

The Gio armchairs - in the two high and low versions - are dedicated to Gio Ponti, one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the 20th century. The idea stems from a fabric-covered seat that is 'suspended' thanks to legs made of solid wood. The seat can be coupled with a back, in high or low versions, with integrated armrests. This interlocking of the legs, seat and backs, with their studied proportions and simple yet refined design, is the distinguishing feature of these armchairs that are suitable for both residential and public spaces.
