Wall lamp emitting diffused light. LED sources are mounted on an iron support fixed to a round iron back plate, with the lamp body formed from an ultra-lightweight, tear-resistant fibre material secured to the metal frame with large magnetic buttons. Designed to be manually crumpled and smoothed by hand during installation, Maap brings together geometry, natural structure and lightness, functioning as an expansive illuminated surface -- a cloud of organic light that diffuses a soft, immersive glow over a broad area with a form that is at once radically simple and inherently complex. Available in three sizes -- W1, W2 and W3 -- which can be combined to span over 10 feet.
