A versatile tableware collection designed by AMDL Circle, the studio founded by Michele De Lucchi. Each object of the collection can serve as a tray, a pen holder, a pocket emptier or anything else one’s imagination suggests. The project emerges from the union of marble’s solidity and a meticulous geometric design. Its shape is defined by the orthogonal overlapping of two levels of thin marble strips, creating a refined geometric decoration. The lines and squares, meticulously arranged, play with optical perception, transforming the surface into a dynamic interplay of solids and voids. Petra, in its essence, celebrates the inherent beauty of materials, a central element in AMDL Circle’s research, infusing everyday objects with decorative quality. Upon request, each piece in the collection can be tailored in terms of materials and size.
