MONDRIAN SOUTH BEACH

Designed in 2008 by the infamous Marcel Wanders, we aimed to create a new Icon, where natural materials replaced man-made.  Coral Fluted columns contrast with dark bronze finishes throughout.  Warm marbles from Turkey contrast sandblasted oak elements with smoked oak louvers throughout to add texture and depth.  We wanted to create a space that was equally inviting, as it was sexy.  The main lounge space will include an open-air living room, accented with handmade lighting fixtures and furnishings, and overlooking stunning sunset vistas of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami.  Throughout the dining and lounge areas, you’ll spot smoked woodwork, artisanal marble, handcrafted encaustic cement, flowing Belgian linens, soft lighting and vibrant plantscapes.  The perfect Oasis is created, housing the energy of Miami Beach, with the sophistication of the European elements to balance.
