Melissa Lunardi and Massimo Tonetto are two designers who have being working with Murano glass and lights independently since the late 90s. In 2013 they founded Venice M, a company that creates unique, hand-made lighting and custom-made designs for clients worldwide, mixing innovation and the great tradition of Italian craftsmanship.

Balance is essential in the transformation of material into finished products. Each material possesses peculiarities that must be understood, indulged and challenged. In the careful hands of experts, lamps and furnishings acquire traits and irregularities, regarding which investigation into the processes that give shape to the matter is necessary.

Beauty is hidden in change. The virtues of raw materials, the experimentation with shapes and volumes, and the transformation of surfaces reveal a timeless design. The peculiarities of the materials are highlighted by manual processing and are translated into the stylistic essentiality of Venicem’s collections.
